Tammy enrolled with Good Learning Anywhere last summer. Since that time she has completed 20 courses and 5 milestone tasks. She moves so fast through her courses that her GLA mentor has a hard time keeping up with her.
She is currently working on Level 2 of the 3 Essential Skills course and has almost completed it. She has also completed an onsite Soft Skills program with the Peterborough Native Learning Program last fall. She works on her courses diligently every morning at the centre. They are happy that she is able to work on courses that will help her reach her goal of improving her skills and getting a job. She had an interview for a Dietary Aide position in January, but unfortunately, she didn’t get the position. So she decided to enroll in a Job Search program with the Peterborough Employment Resource centre to help her get a job. She just doesn’t quit.
Tammy communicates regularly with her online mentor and is always pleasant. She is extremely focused and eager to improve her marks if she does not do well in one of the tests. The sheer volume of courses she has completed in less than a year is impressive!
