Technical Support and FAQ

How much do the courses cost?

All courses are free to adults living in Ontario. Good Learning Anywhere is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development (MLITSD). Funding by MLITSD makes it possible to offer all courses for free.

How do I access my classes?

Here is a brief summary of what you can expect next now that we have received your registration.

After registering, you will have received two emails:

  • Registration Confirmation including a list of classes
  • Orbund Account Creation (this is for our registration system only)

You will receive instructions on how to access your classes in another email.

Next, you will be contacted by your online mentor via email within 2 business days to introduce themselves. Your mentor will be there to support you in classes, assist you in developing a learner plan, provide referrals to other programs, and make recommendations for future classes and next steps.

After that, you will then receive separate emails with instructions on how to access your classes. GLA staff need to manually create learner accounts for each learning system, enrol learners in their classes and then send out login instructions. At this point, you will be able to access your classes.

How do I know if I've registered successfully?

You will receive an email confirmation immediately after registering. The email will confirm your information.

What is an Online Mentor?

After you register, you will be contacted by your Online Mentor who will guide you through your learning plan with Good Learning Anywhere. Your mentor is there to answer questions, help you register for classes, and work with you to achieve your goals.

Can I call and talk to someone?

Call our toll-free number at 1-866-550-0697. Staff are available Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM EST.

I would like to take courses, but I need some help with the registration.

Why do I have to register?

We are funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development (MLITSD). This allows us to offer our courses for free. In order to fulfill our agreement with MLITSD, we require all learners to register with our program.

How do I register?

What is the technical support number for LIVE classes?

Call Contact North at 1-888-850-4628 choose Option #1. Please tell them you are taking a class with Good Learning Anywhere right away. This will help them to answer your questions faster.

I am having technical issues with Edmentum or Moodle. Who do I contact?

Please contact your online mentor. They will be able to help troubleshoot the issue. If the issue needs to be escalated, your online mentor can assist you.
