On Demand
Learn when it works for you.
On Demand courses are flexible online courses that you can work through on your own schedule. There are no regular class times, but GLA staff can still support you as you complete your course.
These courses are replacing our regular LIVE classes. LIVE classes are now mainly offered for group learning, Sharing Circles, and special sessions.
Independent Study
Longer courses at your own pace.
Independent Study courses are longer online courses that learners complete independently. These courses are offered through D2L and are replacing our previous Edmentum courses.
Course materials are available online every day, any time.
Short Courses
Shorter courses focused on practical skills.
Short Courses are usually about 10 – 15 hours and focus on skills for life, work, learning, and employment preparation. These courses are offered through Moodle and include small assignments and activities.
