We are excited to introduce you to the first Learner of the Month winner of 2020. Sara registered with Good Learning Anywhere in late September and has been working intensely through her selected courses since then. Her course selection spans across all of the online platforms we offer, so far Sara has completed an impressive number of classes. Her total time spent on independent learning alone is over 200 hours. In addition to working through her courses to completion, Sara has consistently tried to have an average of 60% or above on ALL her tests and will redo tests several times if this average is not met.
Sara is currently working on a Pre-PSW (personal support worker) course with Loyola College and is also taking other online courses in preparation for a PSW course that starts September 2020 with McMaster University.
At GLA, we are all very proud of her accomplishments so far and will continue to support Sara as she works towards her goals!

Did you have any struggles during your learning? If so, how did you overcome them?
Some but I worked through it. I would recommend this to anyone.
What advice do you have for someone thinking about starting to improve their skills?
Keep trying and never quit.
What is your greatest achievement? Or what accomplishment are you most proud of?
Helping people in need.
What are your goals for the future?
Making people happy. Becoming a PSW.
