Sandra Beatty works extremely hard on her courses. She communicates regularly and always lets her mentor (Sharon) know when she will be working on her course. Her subject line on her emails is always “My friend”. Though she has some challenges learning, she persists. She has done really well with her Moodle courses and has completed several in her learning plan.
Sandra is now working on Math Essential Skills and even though she may find some lessons challenging, she reaches out and asks for help. We are very proud of her continued effort and her successes in the courses. It is a pleasure working with Sandra. We all agree that she is deserving of this award and should be very proud of her work.

Teaching other people. Volunteer in Cobourg.
