I am nominating Damara Cuellar Carbonell for learner of the month. This learner has shown a consistent and hard work ethic towards their courses at Good Learning Anywhere. Damara is a great communicator and has made sure to ask questions and reply to emails.
Damara is originally from Cuba where she worked as Massage Practitioner. She is currently taking Medical Terminology and Body Systems Part 3 with GLA, and has done excellent in Parts 1 and 2. Over the last 6 months, through talking with Damara, I have learned that she is truly a very caring and wonderful person. Damara takes care of family when they need her, going a great distance to make sure she is there for her loved ones. Damara also loves life and is always full of sunshine when we chat.
Damara makes sure to get into her course regularly and works very hard to understand each part of the course. Damara is an excellent student and person!
We decided to ask Damara some questions so we could share more about her story with you.
How did you first hear about online learning with Good Learning Anywhere?

Did you have any struggles during your learning? If so, how did you overcome them?
It’s been a big challenge considering my English language is 7th level. I have had serious family health issues and started a job. However, being perseverant and focusing on improving my personal and professional knowledge made me find time for learning.
What advice do you have for someone thinking about starting to improve their skills?
Embrace all the opportunities we have in this amazing country, no matter what ethnicity, social or economic status we have, we all have the opportunity to study free courses with high quality designs and a great team to help us to improve our skills and knowledge, feel proud of ourselves , be useful in our personal life and society. Improved my English language and Medical terminology & body systems course.
