As Diana’s Northstar Digital Literacy instructor, I have seen first-hand how Diana is a hard-working learner who doesn’t give up even when things may get tough. No matter what is going on in her personal life or what course she is taking, she ensures that she stays in communication with GLA and stays focused on her studies. Diana is a great communicator and expresses when she may need assistance. Her mentor, Petra, says that Diana loves to connect with her regularly through Google Meet. When she started Northstar, Diana expressed concerns regarding the digital literacy courses and after a Google Meet session, she kept at it! Now, she has completed all of the digital literacy lessons that GLA offers and is working on her final assessment. This is not to mention that Diana has also already completed many, if not all, of GLA’s other available courses. Diana’s perseverance, commitment, and regular communication with GLA is why I am nominating Diana to be November’s learner of the month. Amazing job, Diana!
