Congratulations goes out to Ross Anderson on being chosen Good Learning Anywhere’s Learner of the Month for January!  Ross enrolled in our program this past fall and has since completed courses and modules in both the Saba and Plato learning platforms.  Ross is a very dedicated learner, who is extremely committed to reaching his learning goals and is always very active in each of his classes.

We asked Ross to answer a few questions and share his learning journey.  These were his responses.

What advice do you have for someone thinking about upgrading their skills?

I believe that no one is ever too old to learn something new.

How did you start?

I met a Contact North representative at the local library.

If you encountered any struggles, what were they and how did you overcome them?

I had some ongoing difficulties with the Saba computer software, but I just kept the attitude, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.

What is your greatest achievement?

My misspent youth included a trip to a foreign country with a companion for 102 days at a cost of $2500, but turning 65 this spring might top that.

What are your goals for the future?

I’d like to achieve a degree in digital literacy.

We wish you all the best in your learning journey Ross!
